Her blood levels now are remaining where they should be. And they are saying that the results of the blockage may have been a false reading. He is off all sedation. He can see and speak, even though his speech is mostly nonsensical rambling. At the moment he does not know who we are, have any memories, or know the names of any objects (like phone, tv, tree, car, etc) We do see small steps of improvement because yesterday he knew his name and birthdate. We are hopeful this recognition will get better with time. He is awaiting one more surgery to reconstruct his left ankle then hopefully he will be released to Memorial Rehab Hospital. He will remain there for an indefinite period of time and will learn how to reuse his broken limbs, damaged muscles, and have intensive cognitive rehab. I recently gave my dog Max to a family who is raising their grand daughter, Kelly. I received a call from them this morning informing me about a pit bull who came into their yard and had drug Max through a hole in the fence. Robert discovered that Max was lying there dead stiff. He took the dog and wrapped him in a towel placed him in a plastic bag and laid him in the back of his truck for five hours. Then he took the Max out to the country and buried him. Kelly was upset and started praying. The Sheriff's office said they needed the remains for evidence against the pit bull. The grandfather went back out to the burial site and dug up Max. When his shovel hit the dog's body, he heard a squeal. He grabbed up the bag and opened it and Max started to walk around yelping. This is truly a miracle from God. Kelly told her grandfather to take any money out of her account to pay for Max's recovery bill. God is truly a loving God.
